In the first of our proprietary trading reports for the year we looked back at 2023, with the annual analysis of profitability and cost bases. We also explored how regulatory burden facing proprietary trading firms differs from region to region and the impact it’s having on operations. Additionally, we investigated the status of clearing provision in the market, and hot topics suggested by the network, including Bitcoin ETFs, OTC options markets, zero-day options and expansion into new markets.
